Heavy Duty H-Section Uncorded Contract Curtain Track Kit – Black

Heavy Duty H-Section is Renaissance's workhorse contract curtain track – a 14.2mm × 26mm aluminium H-profile with a 6mm glider groove that we specify for hotel bedrooms, care homes, student accommodation, offices and any project where a plain, hand-drawn track has to carry heavy fire retardant curtains day in, day out. Supplied as a complete kit: pre-cut track, 4cm Leverlock brackets that fix to the wall or the ceiling, end caps with eye fittings, gliders and twist end stops. Kits of 3m and over come in two pieces with a joiner.

What is in the kit

Every kit is packed one per box with the track cut to length, 2 end caps with eye fittings, 2 twist end stops, the bracket count for the length ordered and gliders to suit: 10 for 1m, 16 for 1.5m, 20 for 2m, 26 for 2.5m, 30 for 3m, 40 for 4m, 50 for 5m and 60 for 6m. Wave kits are supplied with SurgeWave gliders on string at 60mm or 80mm spacing.

Order curtains and track together

Pair this track with any made-to-measure fire retardant curtain on CreateFR. Pencil pleat and pinch pleat headings run on Standard or Roller gliders – choose Roller for wide or heavy curtains that are drawn many times a day. Wave curtains need the Wave glider that matches the tape spacing on your curtain order. Hardware is dispatched direct from the manufacturer on a 5–10 working day lead time and arrives separately from your curtains.

Wall or ceiling fix: the 4cm Leverlock brackets in the kit fix either way – screw the bracket to the wall or the ceiling, offer up the track and lock the lever. Fixings are included. Bracket centres follow the kit count: three brackets for a 1m track, four for 1.5m, five for 2m, six for 2.5m, seven for 3m, nine for 4m, eleven for 5m and thirteen for 6m. Space them evenly, with a bracket close to each end and one either side of the joiner on two-piece kits.

Gliders and end stops: load the gliders into the groove, fit the end caps (which carry the eye fittings for hooking the leading edge of the curtain) and lock the twist end stops. Roller gliders and SurgeWave gliders drop into the same 6mm groove.

Corners and bays: specify a bent track through the bending service – 10cm minimum radius for 90° angles, 30cm minimum for continuous curves. Bent tracks are made to your drawing, crated for delivery and non-cancellable once formed.

Care: keep the groove clean and dust-free and re-siliconise periodically to prolong smooth running of the gliders.
