Certification

Every FR-One design is inherently flame retardant, so the performance is in the fibre and will not wash out, and every design we list is certified to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B and IMO FTP Code Part 7 for marine use. Starlight, Solunar, Stylo, Savvy, Sensational, Sensuous, Synergy, Optima and Oblix Object also meet Type C, bedding-grade qualities carry BS 7175, and Moon, Houdini, Opulent, Sensuous and Synergy pass Crib 5 inherently. Yes. Every FR-One quality we list is inherently flame retardant, including the recycled ones, so there is no topical treatment to wash out.

Can I use the same FR-One fabric for curtains and seating?

Moon, Houdini, Opulent, Sensuous and the Synergy bouclés pass Crib 5 inherently, so they can run across curtains and upholstery in the same scheme. Most other multi-purpose designs need an additional treatment for UK upholstery; as curtains they are supplied inherently FR.

Which FR-One fabrics suit hotels and cruise ships?

All of them carry IMO FTP Code Part 7, and the wide-width dim-outs and sheers are the usual choice for hotel bedrooms and cruise and ferry cabins.

Do you sell FR-One fabric by the metre?
