From our founder..

CreateFR was born out of frustration — the kind you only get after years of working on live projects where “it’ll be fine” turns out not to be fine at all.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in UK commercial interiors, supporting hospitality, healthcare, education and residential projects from early specification through to installation. During that time, one issue came up again and again: fire-retardant curtains were treated as an afterthought, until suddenly they weren’t.

Designers would ask whether a fabric was actually compliant. Contractors would discover too late that a treatment certificate wasn’t sufficient. Clients would be reassured right up until the point an inspector asked for documentation that didn’t exist — or didn’t apply.

The problem wasn’t a lack of products.
It was a lack of clarity.

CreateFR exists to remove that uncertainty.
