Both. Order a single pair online at the same made-to-measure price, or send us a window schedule for a whole building and we will quote it as one project.

Our online prices are for finished made-to-measure curtains. If you need fabric only for your own workroom, contact us with the fabric name and quantity and we will price it.

No. A single curtain is made to the same standard as a hundred.

Use ‘Add to quote’ on each fabric page to build a room-by-room list and send it to us from the quote page, or email your window schedule to sales@createfr.co.uk. We will return a priced quote you can take through procurement.

Yes. Every made-to-measure curtain is fully lined with FR 3-pass blackout lining as standard, and it is included in the price you see. Sheers and voiles are made unlined so they keep their light, translucent finish.

Yes. The lining is FR, so the finished curtain is fire retardant throughout — face fabric and lining — not just on the outside.

Pinch pleat 2.5×, pencil pleat 2.2×, wave 2.2× and eyelet 1.8× the track or pole width. That is the fullness the online price includes; if a specification calls for something different, ask us for a quote.

Follow the care instructions on the fabric page — most are washable at 30–40°C or dry-cleanable. Washing does not affect the fire performance of an inherently FR fabric.

Yes. Each line is configured separately, so you can have wave in the bedrooms and pencil pleat in the lounge on the same order.

Inherently FR. Every fabric we sell has its fire performance built into the fibre rather than applied as a finish, so it does not wash out or wear off over the life of the curtain. We do not list chemically treated fabrics.

Yes. Certificates are available for every fabric we sell. Ask us and we will send the certificate for your O&M manual, fire risk assessment or building sign-off.

For most UK contract interiors, curtains need to meet BS 5867 Part 2. Type B covers hotels, offices, schools and most public buildings; Type C is the higher standard for care homes, hospitals and other premises where people sleep or are vulnerable. Every fabric page lists the standards that fabric meets, and you can filter by standard if your specification names one.

Both test the fabric’s resistance to ignition, but Type C uses a longer flame exposure and is specified where occupants are sleeping or vulnerable — care homes, hospitals, HMOs. If in doubt, choose Type C: it satisfies Type B requirements as well.

Crib 5 (BS 5852) is an upholstery standard, not a curtain one — curtains are covered by BS 5867 Part 2. If a specification says Crib 5 for curtains it usually means the specifier wants the higher Type C standard. Check with us and we will advise.

Yes. Fabrics certified to IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 7 are listed in our marine range, and we make to the same standards for ferries, cruise ships and offshore accommodation.

No. Because our fabrics are inherently FR the performance is permanent — there is nothing to re-apply after cleaning. Keep the fabric certificate with your fire risk assessment.

Measure the track or pole width (not the window) and the drop from the top of the track, or from the eyelet ring, to where you want the hem to finish — all in millimetres. Our measuring guide walks through each heading style and the common sector layouts.

We can arrange installation as part of a project quote. Tell us the site address and the number of windows when you request a quote and we will include fitting.

Curtains are made to order in the UK. Estimated delivery for this fabric is typically 10–15 working days from confirmation of your order. If you are working to a fixed site date, tell us and we will confirm it before you commit.

Yes. Choose pay by invoice at checkout. Orders up to £10,000 are paid in full before manufacture; larger projects can be placed on credit terms subject to approval.

Throughout the UK. Shipping is calculated at checkout. For larger projects we will quote delivery to site and can deliver in phases to suit your programme.

Prices on the site are shown ex VAT, as most of our customers are businesses. VAT is added at checkout.
