The range

Room divider curtain tracks in nine shapes

From a single straight run to a full circle and a free-standing pod. Every kit is a 28 mm round aluminium wave curtain track in white or black, hand drawn on 80 mm gliders, and either suspended on drop tubes or fixed straight to the ceiling.

Prices are per kit, supply only and ex VAT, for the smallest size top-fixed. Every kit is sold as track on its own; a made-to-measure wave curtain can be added.

How it arrives

A kit, not a parts list

Buying track as loose components means working out bends, joiners, gliders and fixings yourself, then hoping it all turns up together. A Zone kit is one line on the order and one delivery.

  1. Cut

Every length is cut to the size you ordered. Nothing to trim on site, no offcuts to lose.

  2. Formed

Corners are formed at a 300 mm radius and curves at 1700 or 2200 mm, so the curtain runs round without snagging.

  3. Strung

80 mm wave gliders are strung and fitted to the track before it leaves, with end stops and caps in place.

  4. Boxed

One set, one box, with a fitting sheet that marks every fixing position. The fitter opens it and starts.

Fixing

Two ways to put it up

Choose the fixing when you order. The kit arrives with the right supports for it and nothing you do not need.

Suspended

Hung on 16 mm drop tubes from the structure above. The answer for grid ceilings, exposed services and tall spaces where the track needs to sit below the soffit.

One drop tube per metre of track, plus one. Drop cut to order, up to 2000 mm.

Top fix

Bracketed straight to a solid ceiling. The cleanest line and the quickest install where there is plasterboard, timber or concrete to fix into.

Ceiling brackets at 500 mm centres maximum, positions marked on the fitting sheet.

For specifiers

Everything the schedule needs

The same track, the same gliders and the same two fixings on every kit, so one specification covers the whole range. Each product page builds the clause for the exact size, colour and fixing you choose.

Curtains to suit

BS 5867 PART 2

The curtain is the part you have to evidence

A track divides nothing until there is a curtain on it. Whether it is an office room divider, a classroom screen or a curtain partition in a care setting, that curtain has to be certified. We make FR curtains to fit every Zone kit, so track and curtain come from one supplier with one set of paperwork.

  • Inherently fire retardant fabrics only. The performance is in the yarn, so it does not wash out.
  • Wave heading made to the 80 mm gliders already on your track, so the folds sit evenly the day it goes up.
  • Made to measure in the UK to your finished drop, by the same workroom that makes every CreateFR curtain.
  • A sheer gives visual privacy and keeps the daylight. Where speech privacy matters, ask for a heavier or acoustic fabric.

What a curtain adds

A guide price for one wave curtain on each kit, so track and curtain can be budgeted together before anyone asks for a quote.

Guide prices, supply only and ex VAT, for one unlined wave curtain the full length of the track in a sheer FR fabric from our standard range, made to measure to a finished drop of up to 2300 mm. Taller drops, linings and other fabrics are quoted. The track is priced separately on each kit's page. Request a curtain quote

Zone Bespoke

When the room is not an L

The standard shapes cover most rooms. For the rest, send us the plan. We draw it, quote it and box it as one set, exactly like a standard kit.

A free-standing S

Two curves joined back to back, hung on drop tubes with both ends free. It is not one of the standard kits, so it is drawn, quoted and boxed to your plan in the same way as any other Zone Bespoke shape.

  • A standard shape, your size

An L that needs to be 3100 by 2250, a straight run cut to the bay. Same kit, same box, made to the dimensions on your plan.

  • A screened corner with a curved end

A straight run that sweeps round on a 1700 mm radius, so the curtain closes a corner without a hard return. About 6.9 m of track in one set.

  • A stepped run round a column

Two formed corners take the track sideways past a column or a downstand and carry on. The curtain runs through without a break.

To draw and quote it, we need

  1. Dimensions on plan
  2. Ceiling type
  3. Ceiling height and drop
  4. Where it opens and stacks
  5. White or black
  6. Track only, or track and curtain

You get a dimensioned drawing to approve before anything is cut. A phone sketch with measurements is enough to start.
