Site Surveys & Measures
Measured once. Measured right. Fully documented.
Catching what the drawings don't show
Getting the measurements right isn't just about accuracy — it's about catching the things that drawings don't show. Structural obstructions, ceiling heights that vary across a floor plate, window reveals that don't match the architect's schedule, radiators that dictate stack-back positions.
We conduct comprehensive site measures at the appropriate project stages, returning full survey reports backed with photographs so nothing is left to assumption when the manufacturing order is placed.
Every survey covers
Full dimensional survey
Every window measured on site — not scaled from drawings. Width, drop, reveal depth, fixing height, stack-back constraints and any obstructions recorded per opening.
Survey report & photography
A structured report covering every measured opening, with supporting photographs. Discrepancies against the architect's schedule are flagged, not assumed away.
Issue identification
We proactively raise potential problems — fixing surface integrity, services runs behind reveals, access constraints for installation, or specifications that won't physically work in the space as built.
Programme coordination
Site measures scheduled to suit your programme. For phased projects, we attend at each phase handover to keep measurements aligned with the construction sequence.
What you need to know
Who this is for
Fit-out contractors, project managers and main contractors who want the measuring done once, done right, and documented — rather than discovering problems at installation. Also useful for FM teams and care home operators commissioning replacement curtains where original drawings are unavailable.
When to book
The ideal window is after wet trades are complete and reveals are finished, but before the programme's soft furnishings deadline forces the order. For phased handovers, we survey phase by phase.
What you receive
A structured survey report per area, with photographs, dimensions per opening, and a flagged list of discrepancies or risks — the document the manufacturing order is built from.
Book a site survey
We'll coordinate around your programme and return a full report with photographs.
