Heavy Duty Corded Contract Curtain Track Kit – White

Heavy Duty Corded is Renaissance's strongest cord-operated contract curtain track – a 21.4mm × 17mm H-section aluminium profile at 286 g/m, built for the heaviest lined and interlined curtains in hotel bedrooms, conference suites, care homes and public buildings. Supplied as a complete kit: pre-cut track, top-fix ceiling brackets, corded end caps, cording mechanism, heavy-duty gliders, twist end stops, an overlap arm and a 1m drop of 3.5mm heavy-duty cord. Kits of 3m and over come in two pieces with a joiner.

Please tell us how it should be made

Corded tracks are built to your configuration, so we need two things with your order: whether the curtains are centre split or side stacked (right-hand side or left-hand side), and which side the cord control should be on (RHS or LHS). We confirm both back to you in writing before the order goes into production.

Order curtains and track together

Pair this track with any made-to-measure fire retardant curtain on CreateFR. Pencil pleat and pinch pleat headings run on Standard gliders; wave curtains need the Wave glider that matches the tape spacing on your curtain order. Hardware is dispatched direct from the manufacturer and arrives separately from your curtains.

Ceiling fix: use the top-fix ceiling brackets supplied. Bracket centres follow the kit count – three brackets for a 1m track rising to thirteen for 6m. Fixings are included.

Wall fix: order L-extension brackets separately to bring the track off the wall. A spring-loaded bracket option is also available where a snap-in fitting is preferred.

Cord operation: the kit comes with the cording mechanism, corded end caps, overlap arm and a 1m drop of 3.5mm heavy-duty cord. The cord loop must be secured taut and out of reach with a tensioner fixed to the wall or skirting – this is what keeps a corded installation child-safe. Tell us the split (centre or side stacked, RHS/LHS) and the control side when you order.

Corners and curves: this profile can be bent through the bending service to a minimum 12.5cm radius for 90° angles (code 16HDBEND) and a 30cm radius for continuous curves (code 16HDCONT). Bent tracks are crated and non-cancellable once formed.

Care: keep the groove clean and dust-free and re-siliconise periodically to prolong smooth running of the gliders.
