Motiva Round Corded Contract Curtain Track Kit – Black

Motiva Round Corded is Renaissance's heavy-duty contract curtain track with a 28mm round aluminium profile, drawn by cord rather than by hand. Supplied as a complete kit: pre-cut track, extendable 8–12cm wall brackets, corded end caps, gliders, twist end stops, a 1m drop of 3.5mm heavy-duty cord and an overlap arm with swivel gliders. Kits over 2.5m come in two pieces with a joiner.

Please tell us how it should be made

Corded tracks are built to your configuration, so we need two things with your order: whether the curtains are centre split or side stacked (right or left hand side), and which side the cord control should be on. We confirm both back to you in writing before the order goes into production.

Order curtains and track together

Pair this track with any made-to-measure fire retardant curtain on CreateFR. Pencil pleat and pinch pleat headings run on Standard or Roller gliders; wave curtains need the Wave glider that matches the tape spacing on your curtain order. Hardware is dispatched direct from the manufacturer and arrives separately from your curtains.

Wall fix: use the extendable 8–12cm brackets supplied. For deeper clearance over radiators or sills, swap to the 15–19cm extendable bracket. Bracket centres follow the kit count – three brackets for a 1m track rising to thirteen for 6m.

Ceiling fix: use the Motiva ceiling bracket. Recess fix: use the Motiva recess bracket. Both are sold separately.

Cord operation: the kit comes with the cording mechanism and a 1m drop of 3.5mm heavy-duty cord. The cord loop must be secured taut and out of reach with a tensioner fixed to the wall or skirting – this is what keeps a corded installation child-safe. Replacement cord (16MOC32) and cord connectors (16MCCORC) are available separately.

Corners and long runs: turn corners with a bent track to a minimum 30cm radius through the bending service – code 16MCBEND for a single angle, 16MCCONT for a continuous curve. The overlap arm supplied runs on swivel gliders designed to travel smoothly through bends. Bent tracks are crated and non-cancellable once formed.

Care: keep the groove clean and dust-free and re-siliconise periodically to prolong smooth running of the gliders.
