Delaunay Raspberry – made-to-measure fire retardant printed curtains
Delaunay Raspberry is a geometric woven fabric from Edinburgh Weavers in a raspberry colourway. Made from 100% trevira cs, it's certified to BS5867 Part 2 Type B, B1 (Germany) and EN 13773 — so the performance is built in, not applied, and won't wash out over the life of the curtain. Available in 143cm width. Made to measure in the UK by CreateFR — order online in pencil pleat, eyelet, wave or pinch pleat. Other headings and soft furnishings are also available in this fabric, with a 10–15 working day lead time. Samples and test certificates available on request.

Every fabric we sell is inherently fire retardant – the flame-retardant performance is built into the fibre, not applied as a finish, so it will not wash or wear out over the life of the curtain. Enter your sizes and header style above and we will make your curtains here in the UK, whether that is a single window or every room in a building. Fire certificates are available with every order, ready for O&M manuals and building sign-off. For larger projects, or if you would like us to price several rooms in one go, request a quote and we will take it from there.

Fire Retardant Care & Maintenance
Fire performance: BS 5867 Part 2 Type B, B1 (Germany), EN 13773. These are the fabric's tested classifications. Where curtains are made up with a lining or interlining, BS 5867 certification applies to the tested combination — ask us if your project needs assembly test evidence.
Inherently fire retardant: the flame retardant performance is part of the fibre itself, so it won't wash or wear out over the lifetime of your curtains.
Always check any care label supplied with your curtains, and avoid harsh detergents, bleach or steam cleaning, which can affect the fabric's fire-retardant finish.
At CreateFR we aim to make ordering fire retardant curtains as easy as possible. You don't need to work out fabric widths, quantities or gathers — we do all of that for you. All we ever need are two measurements: the width and the drop, both in millimetres (mm).
Before you start: use a metal tape measure rather than a fabric one, and note every measurement in millimetres.
Measuring the width
If you have an existing track
Measure the track from end to end and give us that figure in mm.
If you have an existing pole
Measure between the decorative ends (finials). Don't include the finials themselves.
No track or pole yet?
Measure the width of the window recess and add 300mm (150mm each side). This allows your new track or pole — and your curtains — to sit comfortably either side of the window.
Measuring the drop
Where should curtains finish?
Curtains look best finishing in one of three places:
- A — 10mm above the floor
- B — 10mm above the sill
- C — 150mm below the sill (or 20mm above any radiator)
Measure from the top of your track down to where you'd like your curtains to finish.
Floors and sills are rarely perfectly level, so measure the drop in two or three places along the window and use the smallest figure.
Measuring from a pole?
Measure from the eye of the curtain ring — that's where the curtain hangs from. For eyelet curtains, measure from the top of the pole.
No track or pole yet?
Measure from 100mm above the recess down to where you'd like your curtains to finish.
Not sure about anything?
If your window makes measuring tricky — a bay, a sloping ceiling, an awkward recess — send us a photo or get in touch and we'll talk you through it.
Estimated Delivery
This product is made to order. Estimated delivery: 10-15 Working Days from confirmation of your order.
Are the curtains lined?
Yes. Every made-to-measure curtain is fully lined with FR 3-pass blackout lining as standard, and it is included in the price you see. Sheers and voiles are made unlined so they keep their light, translucent finish.
Is the lining fire retardant too?
Yes. The lining is FR, so the finished curtain is fire retardant throughout — face fabric and lining — not just on the outside.
What fullness do you make to?
Pinch pleat 2.5×, pencil pleat 2.2×, wave 2.2× and eyelet 1.8× the track or pole width. That is the fullness the online price includes; if a specification calls for something different, ask us for a quote.
Are your fabrics inherently fire retardant or treated?
Inherently FR. Every fabric we sell has its fire performance built into the fibre rather than applied as a finish, so it does not wash out or wear off over the life of the curtain. We do not list chemically treated fabrics.
Can I get a fire certificate?
Yes. Certificates are available for every fabric we sell. Ask us and we will send the certificate for your O&M manual, fire risk assessment or building sign-off.
Contact us →How do I measure for made-to-measure curtains?
Measure the track or pole width (not the window) and the drop from the top of the track, or from the eyelet ring, to where you want the hem to finish — all in millimetres. Our measuring guide walks through each heading style and the common sector layouts.
Read the measuring guide →How long will my order take?
Curtains are made to order in the UK. Estimated delivery for this fabric is 10-15 Working Days from confirmation of your order. If you are working to a fixed site date, tell us and we will confirm it before you commit.
Can I order a sample?
Yes. Samples are free, including UK postage. Use the ‘Add free sample to basket’ button on any fabric page.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes. Choose pay by invoice at checkout. Orders up to £10,000 are paid in full before manufacture; larger projects can be placed on credit terms subject to approval.
Can you install the curtains?
We can arrange installation as part of a project quote. Tell us the site address and the number of windows when you request a quote and we will include fitting.
Request a quote →Do you make curtains for a single window, or only large projects?
Both. Order a single pair online at the same made-to-measure price, or send us a window schedule for a whole building and we will quote it as one project.
