iLiv Fire Retardant Fabrics

iLiv is a British fabric house whose FR drapery ranges are woven and printed with fire performance built in, not added on. CreateFR carries the full breadth of iLiv's fire retardant curtain fabrics — from the inherently FR Print+ designs on Panama base cloth, through dedicated plains, textures, velvets and voiles, to the 100% British wool Kelso collection, naturally flame retardant by fibre. Every fabric is made to measure as finished curtains meeting BS 5867 Part 2, with many ranges also certified to Crib 5 and IMO marine standards for use in hotels, care homes, schools, offices and cruise interiors.

iLiv is a British fabric house whose FR ranges have fire performance built into the cloth rather than added afterwards. What is in the iLiv range

Print+ collections. iLiv's printed designs on an inherently FR Panama base cloth: florals, geometrics, textures and themed prints for care homes, hotels and schools, each with coordinating plains.
Kelso British wool. Woven in Yorkshire from 100% British wool, naturally flame retardant by fibre; see wool fire retardant curtains.
Plains, textures, velvets and voiles. Dedicated FR plain and velvet ranges and sheers to complete a scheme.
Marine. Many iLiv qualities carry IMO certification for cruise and ferry use.

Certification

iLiv FR fabrics are inherently fire retardant. Every quality here is tested to BS 5867 Part 2, with many holding Type C, Crib 5 and IMO certification as well. Ratings are listed on each product page and certificates are supplied with your order.

Is every iLiv fabric fire retardant?

No. iLiv also sells domestic ranges that are not FR. We list only the FR qualities, so everything on this page is certified.

Do you sell iLiv fabric by the metre?

Online pricing is for finished curtains; for fabric only, include the metreage in a quote request.

Can you supply an iLiv FR fabric that is not listed?

Usually. Send us the collection and colourway and we will confirm availability and lead time.
